NASAの宇宙飛行士トニー・ネルソン少佐が搭乗するロケットが、故障で南海の小島に緊急不時着する。

砂浜で見つけた壷から煙とともに現れたジニーの魔法で無事に基地に帰ることはできたが、彼女はトニーの家までついてきてしまい、一緒に暮らすことになる。

ジニーの存在はトニーと親友ロジャー・ヒーリー少佐しか知らない。

バーバラ・イーデン扮するセクシーな魔女ジニーの声を人気歌手の中村晃子が受け持ったことが話題になった。
